The Australian Journal of Education, established in 1957, is an international peer-reviewed journal publishing research conducted in Australia and internationally to inform educational researchers, as well as educators, administrators and policy-makers, about issues of contemporary concern in education. In giving their advice to the editor, reviewers judge the merit of the research on the significance of its findings and the rigour with which the research is conducted and reported. Preference will be given to studies using well designed and implemented quantitative methodologies. Articles that are based on the author's personal experiences, reflections or small case studies that have limited generalisability are unlikely to be considered for publication.The editorial team of the Australian Journal of Education recognises the Traditional Custodians of the land we call Australia, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We recognise their connection to Country and their role in caring for and maintaining Country over thousands of years.
