Ethics & International Affairs (EIA) is a quarterly journal published by the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs, aiming to bridge the gap between theory and practice (as well as between theorists and practitioners). The journal publishes original articles that integrate rigorous thinking about principles of justice and morality into discussions of practical dilemmas related to current policy developments, global institutional arrangements, and the conduct of significant international actors.EIA covers thematic areas such as ethics, international relations, and political science. The journal encourages authors to submit articles in clear, jargon-free English, with adequate but not excessive documentation. Articles should be accessible to a diverse readership, including scholars from various disciplines, policymakers, and journalists. The textual style generally follows the format of the Chicago Manual of Style, and house style sheets may be sent to authors during the revision process.
