"The Asian Journal of Communication" (AJC) has become an important academic voice in the field of communication studies since its inception in 1990, especially in the study of communication in the Asian region. This journal not only provides scholars with a place to publish and exchange research findings but also promotes in-depth understanding and critical thinking about Asian communication phenomena. The magazine pays special attention to communication practices in the Asia-Pacific region and global Asian communities, including media use, communication policy, cultural identity, public opinion, and the impact of new media technologies. By publishing empirical research reports, AJC promotes empirical exploration of Asian communication patterns and effects, and also encourages theoretical innovation, contributing to the development of communication theory.In addition, AJC is committed to improving the quality of research methodology, encouraging the use of diverse research methods to adapt to different research questions and environments. This includes quantitative research, qualitative research, case studies, and mixed methods research, aiming to improve the rigor and applicability of research.Through these efforts, AJC not only provides rich content for academic discussions on Asian communication research but also provides global communication scholars with opportunities to understand and learn from Asian communication experiences, thus promoting cross-cultural and cross-regional academic exchange and cooperation.
