Written Communication is an international interdisciplinary journal dedicated to exploring various aspects of writing theory and research. This journal covers multiple fields including anthropology, English, education, history, journalism, linguistics, psychology, and rhetoric, providing a platform for scholars to exchange and share their research findings on writing.In the magazine, readers can find in-depth discussions on topics such as the nature of writing ability, writing assessment, the impact of technology on writing, and the impact of writing on technology. In addition, the journal also focuses on the social and political consequences of writing and writing guidance, as well as important research in non academic writing, literacy (including workplace and emergency literacy, and the impact of classroom processes on literacy development), and other areas. It also focuses on topics such as the social construction of knowledge, the writing nature of disciplines and professional fields, cognition and creation, the structure of written texts and written communication. At the same time, the journal also focuses on the relationship between gender, race, class, and writing, as well as the connections between writing, reading, speaking, and listening.
