The Language Magazine is published by ELSEVIER Science BV and headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. As a long-standing linguistic journal, it was once a top tier journal in the field of linguistics, but underwent a significant change in 2015. At that time, due to the publisher Elsevier's opposition to open source, all editorial boards of Lingua collectively resigned, which had a profound impact on the subsequent development of the magazine. Nevertheless, the magazine still maintains its popularity and influence in the linguistic community.Language Journal is a comprehensive linguistic journal that covers multiple subfields of linguistics, including but not limited to syntax, semantics, pragmatics, phonetics, and phonology. This journal is committed to publishing high-quality research papers and providing a platform for linguistic scholars to exchange academic achievements.
