The Journal of Counseling Psychology publishes empirical research in the areas of counseling activities (including assessment, interventions, consultation, supervision, training, prevention, psychological education, and advocacy)career and educational development and vocational psychologydiversity and underrepresented populations in relation to counseling activitiesthe development of new measures to be used in counseling activitiesprofessional issues in counseling psychology.The goal of the magazine is to promote research and practice in counseling psychology, and improve the quality and effectiveness of counseling services. It encourages researchers to conduct innovative research and publish research results with depth and breadth to promote the development of counseling psychology.
