期刊介绍

The International Journal of The Commons is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed open access journal published by the International Association for Public Research. The magazine focuses on studying and understanding the use and management mechanism of collective shared resources (Commons). These resources include not only natural resources, such as forests, climate systems and oceans, but also social resources created by human beings, such as the Internet or (scientific) knowledge, especially knowledge published in open access journals. The goal of the magazine is to promote understanding of sustainable management and governance of shared resources by publishing high-quality research findings. It encourages scholars and practitioners from different disciplines to submit research on the economics, sociology, political science, law, ecology, and anthropology of shared resources. Through this approach, it not only provides a communication platform for the academic community, but also offers valuable insights and solutions for policymakers and practitioners to address shared resource management challenges on a global scale.
