Perspectives studies in Translation Theory and Practice encourages submission of papers exploring various language and cultural mediation issues, including but not limited to literary translation, technological translation, interpretation, audiovisual translation, intralingual mediation, etc. A major feature of this journal is its emphasis on empirical research, encouraging scholars to explore the underlying patterns of translation phenomena through field investigations, data analysis, and other methods. At the same time, the magazine also values cross-cultural perspectives and encourages scholars to study the role and value of translation in different contexts from different cultural backgrounds.
