Journal of African History is an academic journal dedicated to the study of African history. Since 1964, it has been committed to providing a platform for scholars to explore various aspects of African history. Whether in ancient or modern times, whether in social, economic, political, cultural, or intellectual history, JAH welcomes the use of historical methods to study the history of Africa.Recently, articles and book reviews published in magazines have covered a wide range of topics, including labor and class, gender and sexuality, health and medicine, race and ethnicity, immigration and diaspora, nationalism and national politics, religion and rituals, technology and environment, among many others. These studies not only enrich our understanding of African history, but also provide new perspectives and reflections for global historical research.
