The Journal of the Gilded Age and Progressive Era, published quarterly, provides original essays, including online projects, and reviews scholarly books on all aspects of U.S. history for the time period from 1865 through 1920.Covering various aspects of American history from 1865 to the 1920s, published original papers, historical papers, teaching articles, roundtable discussions, photographic papers, archival explorations, and important book review papers. Occasionally, special issues are published to gather top scholars' attention on specific topics or problems. Special encouragement is given to publishing works by emerging scholars.
