Lexikos is an academic journal dedicated to lexicographic research, published by the WAT Bureau in the AFRALEX series since 1991. In 1996, the African Dictionary Association became its co publisher, making the journal an important voice in the field of African lexicography. This journal is mainly aimed at lexicographers and scholars interested in dictionary compilation, with a particular focus on dictionary compilation issues for African languages. It provides an academic exchange platform where scholars can share their research achievements, methodologies, and challenges in the field of dictionary compilation.
