期刊介绍

Critical Arts-south-north Cultural and Media Studies is an academic journal dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary research, with a particular focus on North-South perspectives in cultural and media studies. The journal encourages scholars from diverse backgrounds, especially African scholars, to engage in in-depth discussions on Africa and its place in the global cultural and media landscape. At the same time, it also welcomes scholars from other regions to participate in the discussion, aiming to reveal the unique experiences and challenges of African and Southern countries in the context of globalization through multi-faceted and multi-perspective analysis. The interdisciplinary epistemological approach of the journal provides a broad platform for scholars and promotes the communication and integration between various disciplines such as cultural studies, media studies, sociology, and political science. In this way, the journal not only promotes a deeper understanding of cultural phenomena in Africa and the countries of the South, but also provides new perspectives and reflections on the development of global cultural and media studies.
