The American Criminal Law Review is an academic journal focused on the field of criminal law, dedicated to providing a platform for publication and discussion of outstanding academic work in criminal law research. The purpose of this journal is to serve the criminal law community, including scholars, legal practitioners, policy makers, and students and researchers interested in the criminal justice system.The journal covers all aspects of criminal law, including but not limited to criminal theory, criminal responsibility, due process, sentencing, punishment theory, and constitutional issues related to criminal justice. The journal encourages in-depth analysis of existing criminal law systems, as well as exploration of emerging criminal law issues and policies. The journal places special emphasis on innovative and enlightening research in the field of criminal law, whether theoretical or empirical. A variety of research methods are welcome, including legal analysis, historical studies, comparative law studies, economic analysis, and quantitative and qualitative research in the social sciences.
